Nathan Marshall
Special Counsel
Nathan is a Special Counsel in the Commercial Litigation and Wills and Estates Dispute teams.
Nathan has 20 years of legal experience in commercial litigation in all court jurisdictions, acting for, and advising, individual clients, family enterprises, start-ups and commercial operations that range from small-to-medium enterprises. That experience includes acting in all manner of complex disputes, litigation over wills, estates and inheritances, defamation, and recovery of debts to preserve cash flow.
Nathan understands that there are often no winners in lengthy contested litigation and early resolutions are often preferable. To this end, Nathan’s demonstrated expertise has won his clients results that are often only possible outside court processes.
Outside of his legal work at Stanley & Co Lawyers, Nathan is a panel member of the Litigation Assistance Fund, a non-profit charitable trust for which the Law Society of South Australia is trustee. The Litigation Assistance Fund provides funding assistance to claimants who are unable to meet the fees and/or disbursements of prosecuting their claim.
