Rich Stanley
Co-Founder and Partner
Rich is one of the Founders and Partners of Stanley & Co Lawyers. He has extensive experience in Criminal Law including both Major Indictable, Minor Indictable and Summary Offences. His expertise also spans Commercial Law including Commercial Agreements, Business Sales, Shareholders Agreements, Franchising and Partnerships.
Rich is a specialist in his field, having accumulated 19 years of experience across several jurisdictions including the UK and Australia. Rich has regularly been involved in multiple high-profile cases throughout his career.
As well as his impactful work at Stanley & Co. Lawyers, Rich is also a board member of OARS Community Transitions, a non-government crime protection agency which aims to enhance community wellbeing by reducing offending and victimisation.

- Advising and negotiating terms of vendor finance agreements, secured and unsecured loan agreements, mortgage documents, guarantees and indemnities, and security agreements.
- Business sale and purchase advice and transactions.
- Advising clients in relation to intellectual property matters.
- Franchising advice and disputes.
- Competition and consumer law advice.
- Commercial leasing advice for both landlords and tenants.
- Acting for creditors and shareholders in relation to applications for the winding up of companies on both insolvency related and just and equitable grounds.
- Advising clients in relation to commercial matters including business structures and compliance with the Corporations Act 2001.
- Negotiating the successful resolution of disputes between shareholders and/or company directors.
- Advising clients in relation to debt recovery and insolvency related matters.
